"is this how they play?"

This work is a questioning of the entertainment industry.
The story of a small town girl who goes to the big city taking a few pieces of clothing and her dreams in her suitcase. Leaving behind everything that no longer fits her.
The work shows the moment when this girl observes how the wheel of industry works in front of a woman. Immersed in the urban aesthetic, she carries in her hands a magazine created by men. Representing a type of behavior manual for surviving the industry, she asks herself: “Is this how to play the game then?”
in this behavior she sees:
the hyper sexualization of women, to have the same relevance as a man, on a stage with a guitar, white shirt and jeans;
the obsolescence of women when they reach 30, as if they were truly disposable and no longer fit for “consumption”;
the concept that women have of men does not go beyond their aesthetic sense. Which invalidates all the work and content developed;
and much more.
The turning point of the work is represented by his raised eyebrow. His indignation shows the strength and courage to make his destiny different.
